There are a number of families is Delhi who are affected by HIV/AIDS and are left to cope with its consequences on their lives. HIV is spreading rapidly due to gender inequality, poor living conditions, limited social protection, migration, etc.
Those who are infected are not only condemned and rejected by family and the community but often receive little or no compassion. The effects, such as broken homes, loss of breadwinners, loss of employment, psychological effects, etc. all have an adverse effect on the community. Home Based Care Home based care means caring for these families in their homes. Visiting families, spending time with them, praying for them and sharing the love of Christ through our actions.
